Speedometer unit gears are the connection between the speedometer cable and the speedometer, they make sure your speedometer shows the correct speed.

SIP -TIP: When installing the speedometer gear, turn your drum brake slowly, otherwise the drive gear will be flattened by the Speedo unit.
