These speed sensors are responsible for transmitting the wheel rpm rate to the speedometer unit. They are suitable for attachment to either the front suspension wheel assembly or the engine housing at the rear. The connection adapters of different sizes allow them to be mounted on all common vehicle types. Suitable brackets are also included for easy mounting. Active speed sensors can detect the attachment wheels to record the rotational speed, although a magnet always provides a more solid transponder signal.
If you are looking for a simpler plug & play solution, our own SIP speed sensors are ideal! They can be securely mounted in place on your scooter using the existing PIAGGIO speedometer unit. Our speed sensors are not only discreet, but also extremely robust and reliable in all conditions.
TIP: Don't forget to order the SIP speedometer/tachometer for perfect results!
The front fork is not suitable as the complete swingarm assembly moves independently of it.
