These brake blocks have been designed and tested by our technicians to easily overcome the stresses imposed by extreme use and mainly for racing vehicles that require significant deceleration and consistent performance at the highest temperatures.
For this reason, Malossi brake shoes are made of a special magnesium-aluminium alloy, with a special friction material containing metal fibres which improve their resistance and are asbestos-free in accordance with the new EEC standards.
The new friction material mixes are environmentally friendly, offer significantly higher than average characteristics and excellent anti-noise characteristics, ensuring modular and progressive braking, shorter braking distances and extremely limited friction material consumption per kilometre. The oblique cuts for dust discharge have been studied and tested in four years of scooter competitions.
