EQS for CDI Ignition on 1-2 Cylinder Carburetor Engines 2T/4T
EQS (Easy Quick Shifter) is an electronic device that allows you to shift up a gear during fast, sporty riding without closing the throttle or using the clutch. It also requires NO external power thanks to a batteryless hardware solution applicable to all single-cylinder carbureted engines with Capacitive Discharge Ignition (CDI).
The configuration is manual via selection microswitches, therefore NO external device such as a PC or Smartphone is necessary.
The control electronics container is made of common ABS plastic resistant to water (NOT FOR IMMERSION) and vibrations thanks to the total resin coating of the electronic board inside it.
Waterproof wiring and connectors have been designed for motorsport applications, making the device resistant to engine temperatures, oil and hydrocarbons as well as water sprays even under pressure.
It is possible to configure the Cut-Off time only from 30 to 60 thousandths of a second with a precision of 3 thousandths of a second through 10 selection microswitches.
The kit consists of:
1 electronic control unit (eBox EQS)
1 electromechanical sensor to be applied directly on the gear lever
1 Plug&Play wiring harness for connection to the ORIGINAL electrical system of the vehicle.
