Occasionally, even a relatively small impulse can have a significant effect, which is especially true for the technology involved in tuning vintage Vespas. It's no secret that control cables play a vital role in their overall function. Hardly any other form of transportation includes such long, awkwardly routed control cables as a classic metal-framed scooter. This can quickly lead to vague feedback from the various connected components and stiff operation. If properly adjusted, these problems can be minimized, although more modern scooters remain much more user-friendly. Due to the longer service intervals sometimes involved, extensive research has been conducted into improved control cables, and numerous manufacturers are now producing models with aggiornate.are.
SIP decided to tackle the challenge from scratch with a completely new, modern design. These SIP Performance Control cables were designed to be cutting-edge, introducing a new level of operational control, riding dynamics, and handling for any type of vintage scooter. To meet these demanding requirements, we first conducted extensive research and testing to establish our capabilities within the limits of current vehicle construction technology. We then adapted the results to the conditions encountered by vintage scooters with metal bodies.
