Characteristics

The SIP PERFORMANCE 2.0 shock absorber features continuously adjustable spring preload, progressive spring rate, and 20-stage rebound adjustment. The design includes a 12.5 mm shock absorber rod and an additional guide plate for top mounting, providing greater stability and precision.

All components are made of high-quality materials, with precise CNC machining and protective anti-corrosion coatings.

Preload and adjustments

The spring preload is adjustable via two spring rings that prevent accidental adjustments. The adjustment tool is included.

The progressive spring ensures comfort and support: soft in the first part of the travel and stiffer under heavy loads, ideal with a passenger or luggage.

Return adjustment

The rebound adjustment affects the shock absorber's behavior on bumps, rough roads, and when braking. Up to 20 levels (clicks) are available. Turning clockwise increases the damping, while turning counterclockwise decreases it.

Technical note

With Grimeca disc brakes, a slight modification to the shock absorber mount may be necessary. The original plastic cover may vary in accuracy, but the operation is simple and can be done at home.
