VMC SILURO TOURING muffler for Vespa Small frame
The muffler has been designed and developed to be super performing while maintaining a classic and original look and sound.
It is built entirely from stamped steel sheets and assembled by artisan welders with decades of experience in the production of 2T mufflers.
The VMC SILURO "TOURING" version has a 28mm diameter exhaust flange and slotted fixing holes that adapt to cylinders with 52, 56 and 60mm stud centre distances.
The final db killer has a smaller diameter than the one fitted on the Sport, designed specifically for the Touring model, but interchangeable with the one on the Sport model if you want to improve performance.
It adapts very well to cylinders with a 27/28mm exhaust hole such as the new Vmc CP-58, the classic original 125s, the 130 Polini cast iron, Malossi, Quattrini M1, Dr, Pinasco and also to short stroke cylinders such as the Vmc T-56 106cc or the VMC 100 RVA reed valve to the cylinder or the various Polini Malossi 105cc / 115cc
This muffler enhances and releases the engine's power and torque right from low revs with an over-rev that can reach up to 10,000 rpm.
In practice, the VMC SILURO has the characteristics of an expansion muffler even though it is not one.
The SILURO TOURING model compared to the SILURO SPORT version has a much quieter sound with performances suitable for cylinders with lower performance than the target to which the "SPORT" model is aimed with a negligible difference in performance compared to the sport version.
Assembly is quick and easy, the muffler also fits on 125cc ET3 Primavera Smallframe frames with the side drawer.
To fit onto PK series frames, you need to cut a portion of the bulkhead inside the engine compartment where the spare wheel is attached and modify the fixing bracket on the engine crossmember.
Without modifications to the Vespa chassis it WILL NOT FIT on 125cc Primavera Pre 1976 Smallframe frames due to the deeper side drawer.
