VMC SILURO SPORT muffler specifically for Vespa PK frames
The muffler has been designed and developed to be super performing while maintaining a classic and original look and sound.
It is built entirely from stamped steel sheets and assembled by artisan welders with decades of experience in the production of 2T mufflers.
The VMC SILURO "SPORT" version has a 32mm diameter exhaust flange and slotted fixing holes that adapt to cylinders with 52, 56 and 60mm stud centre distances.
It is very well suited to high performance cylinders such as the VMC GS cast iron series, the VMC ET6 and ET7 aluminium cylinders both 135cc and 144cc, Pinasco Zuera, Quattrini M1 series (M1 56-60, M1-60B, M1L 56-60), the EGIG 170cc cast iron cylinder, etc.
For original Piaggio or aftermarket cylinders with exhaust diameter between 26/28mm and stud center distance of 52/56mm, there is an optional 28mm manifold for the VMC SILURO PK muffler.
With this muffler it is not possible to mount the spare tire in the original position inside the left side belly pan
In models with battery, the battery holder must be removed or replaced with the one from the square version of the Vespa Px
This muffler enhances and releases the engine's power and torque right from low revs with an over-rev that can reach over 10,000 rpm.
In practice, the VMC SILURO has the characteristics of an expansion muffler even though it is not one.
The sound of the SILURO SPORT model compared to an expansion is much more contained and quiet, especially at low revs.
Since it is a mechanically silenced muffler, the sound will become more and more muffled over time compared to the first few times it is turned on.

Question: Buongiorno, volevo montare su una vespa la vostra vmc siluro supersport. Essendo una PK ho visto la versione sport PK, mi chiedevo se dalla versione sport cambiasse solo il collettore e il dbkiller in confronto alla supersport o cambia tutto il corpo marmitta, perché vorrei evitare di tagliare la paratia per montare la SS.
