Key features of this gearbox include the reduction of all tolerances between the axle and pinions, which contribute to greater precision and reliability.
This product is a complete YX 150/160 engine gearbox, precision CNC machined using SCM415 steel.
Designed specifically for motards, it has been optimized to offer superior performance.
The processing was carried out with high-precision automatic control machines to ensure high quality standards.
Key features of this gearbox include the reduction of all tolerances between the axle and pinions, which contribute to greater precision and reliability. Dovetail couplings ensure smooth and precise shifting, improving the riding experience.
The motard-optimized design is reflected in the long 1st and 2nd gears and the short 4th gear, offering a range of ratios suited to the specific needs of this category of Enginecycles. In addition, the gearbox is completely CNC machined, giving strength and durability to the product.
The gear spacings are specified as follows:
**Primary:**
- 13
- 17
- 17
- 19
**Secondary:**
- 34
- 29
- 23
- 21
These spacings contribute to an effective variation of the transmission ratios, allowing an optimized drive for different road situations and riding styles. In summary, the YX 150/160 complete CNC engine gearbox in SCM415 steel represents a high quality and performance solution for motard enthusiasts looking for an improvement in the performance of their vehicle.
Here is a guide based on the instructions provided:
Motard Gearbox Assembly Guide:
1. File the crankcase lightly:
- Check the crankcase for the marked area where the fourth gear gear contacts the crankcase, preventing the transmission from turning properly.
- Use a file to gently remove excess material in the marked area, allowing the derailleur to move freely.

2. Adjust the shim between third and fourth gear:
- On the secondary shaft, identify the space between third and fourth gear.
- Make sure the shim is placed between the circlip and third gear, and not between the circlip and second gear as shown in the photo.
- Fit the washer to the right of the circlip, thus ensuring the correct arrangement.
3. Replace the primary shaft circlips:
- Identify the circlips on the primary shaft, which are 17, not 18 as incorrectly fitted.
- Remove the incorrect circlips and replace them with the correct ones suitable for a 17" shaft.
Be sure to follow these instructions carefully to ensure proper assembly and optimum operation of your Cambio Motard gearbox.
