In the event of a puncture, a sudden loss of air is prevented, the air pressure will slowly decrease. Blown tires will be a thing of the past. So the valve tears or punctures due to tubes trapped between the rims during assembly.

The SIP team has managed to obtain approval from the relevant authorities in Germany to produce vehicle components that are completely legal for use on a road vehicle. This means that the SIP 8106 wheel has received the official ministry code "KBA 51612" which allows it to be used on the road in Germany and the rest of Europe. The chrome version has not been issued with this recognition. We do not intend to submit them to the authorities for approval purposes.

Aluminum rim, painted, 10x2.10 inches, tubeless

- acorn nuts, key size 12 mm, with NORD-Lock washers

- long valve. The short ones cause problems on some older British petrol stations.

- German ABE documents (except chrome version) and assembly instructions

SIP -TIPP: Keep some tire sealant in your glove box.

Attention: Please contact a qualified workshop for precise and damage-free tire mounting (use of a tire tool and appropriate base recommended). Make sure to avoid any damage to the surface! Many tube type (TT) tires can also be used as tubeless tires (TL). When mounting the tire, be sure to use mounting paste. If you use oil or other inappropriate lubricants, the tire will not sit securely on the rim. Danger! Be sure to always check the play of the engine and accessory parts! The rims are also available with optional mounted tires such as SIP Performer, Michelin, Continental or Schwalbe.

We recommend using a high quality original brake drum, in some cases the replicas are positioned incorrectly, so the rim cannot be mounted correctly on the drum.
