BGM PRO reinforced cruise - 4 gears, H 50mm, incl. spring and balls VESPA

The BGM Pro Cross is made of high-quality chromium-molybdenum steel 15CrMo5 (SCM415) and is therefore very durable. The flanks are, compared to other Crosses available on the market, very closely tolerated. This ensures that the Cross is guided exactly into the main shaft and the gear arming/tipping is effectively prevented. The profile for locking the gear steps has been significantly improved and offers the following advantages:

GANG 1-2
The profile of the first gear stop has been reworked so that it can be engaged more easily. It is also possible to shift into second gear much faster. This is a nice feature, especially in racing, to make the interruption of traction as short as possible.

GANG 2-4
The locking profiles of the other gears have been revised so that the gears engage much more precisely. The unpleasant jumping of a gear under load, which is often a problem with conventional Cross gears when the gear wheels are already slightly worn, is thus largely avoided. The BGM shift spring provides support in this respect. Its spring force is precisely tuned and offers the ideal conditions for a well-shifting gearshift with richly shiftable gears.

FIT FOR
The BGM Pro is produced for the so-called PK transmission type. This is operated with the round type shift claw (length 50 mm (overall height)). The round type shift claw means that the pins that engage in the gear wheel are provided with a radius at the transition at the end of the arm.

IDENTIFICATION
of the reducer The PK type can be recognized by the marking on the gear wheels. This always starts with a 42xx (= Cross with 50mm). The old type is identified by the numbering 37xx (= angle leg with 51mm)

EXCEPTIONS
The version with PK reduction gear has already been used in the last years of production of the V50 (V5A1T from no. 69444), V50 Special (V5B3T from no. 94315), V550 Elestart (V5B4T from no. 1514), as well as the PV125 (VMA2T from no. 150203) and ET3 (VMB1T from no. 8161).

APPLICATION

The BGM Pro Cruise was designed for racing and has been used with great success. However, it can be used in everyday use without further restrictions and also convinces here with its high quality and perfect shifting behavior.
