Exhaust - BGM PRO BigBox TOURING (BBT) - Vespa PX200, Rally200 BGM1011TR
The BGM BigBox Touring - Power for the Big Tour
Torque from idle speed with the look and sound of a standard exhaust.
The BGM BigBox Touring is the steam tour of our program.
Developed for full thrust from the cellar at low speed.
Perfect for original engines or cylinders whose power is applied early, e.g. Polini, Malossi Sport, Pinasco. An early power input as well as the significantly increased torque make the touring version of our BigBox the ideal companion for all those who like to travel as a couple or with a lot of luggage. Team riders can be equally happy. The high available torque makes the otherwise mandatory shortening of the gear reduction superfluous!
On a standard PX200, the Touringbox comes into the car 300 rpm earlier than the standard exhaust, the king of all touring riders. On power plants like the Polini or Malossi sports cylinders this exhaust is also the right choice. Like the original Vespa exhaust, the BigBox is of course double-walled and equipped with insulation wool.
PRO
:
Original optics
Silent thanks to the double wall and insulating wool like the original exhaust
High torque
No performance gap
Speed band as original
Very discreet
It also fits the Rally without modifications
Solid construction with clamp on cylinder
Hand made in Europe
WITH
:
Not for speed-oriented drivers
No approval
Please note: Choose the main jet about 4-6 numbers larger than your original exhaust.
ADVICE
O With a longer gear ratio the speed range available in each gear can be greatly expanded. This allows high torque to be converted into high speed.
Ideal: Simply install the BGM Superstrong clutch with 24-tooth sprocket (original 23 teeth).
It works without any other engine modifications and gives a ~5km/h advantage.
Engines with excess torque can also use the longer BGM primary gear with 64 teeth in combination with the 24-tooth clutch (+8km/h).
ASSEMBLY
The exhaust is mounted like the original exhaust. The manifold is mounted on the cylinder with a clamp. This provides better stability than a loose mounting with an O-ring seal and prevents damage to the exhaust flange. The manifold is equipped with spring straps. For optimum ground clearance, do not use a too short spacer on the rear shock absorber.
CONCLUSION A
