Series 5 SINTERED CERAMIC
Sintered mixture based on nickel and ferrous metals.
The mixture, which is dedicated to extreme racing use, needs to reach a temperature of around 200°C to be effective.
Once the temperature is reached, the friction coefficient, once the pads and discs have warmed up and reached the required temperature, varies between a minimum of 0.6 and 0.85 with peaks close to 1.0.
The operating temperature is between 200°C and 500°C.
Braking benefits from an aggressive yet manageable bite (response to the first touch of the lever). Since this is a compound dedicated to racing use, increased thicknesses are available in the range.
