In the event of a puncture, a sudden loss of air is prevented; the air pressure will slowly decrease. Blown tires will be a thing of the past. This prevents the valve from tearing or puncturing due to tubes getting trapped between the rims during assembly.

The SIP team has successfully obtained approval from the relevant authorities in Germany to produce vehicle components that are fully legal for use on road vehicles. This means that the SIP 8106 wheel has received the official ministry code "KBA 51612," permitting its use on roads in Germany and the rest of Europe. The chrome version was not issued with this approval. We do not intend to submit them to the authorities for approval purposes.

Aluminum rim, painted, 10x2.10 inches, tubeless

- acorn nuts, wrench size 12 mm, with NORD-Lock washers

- long valve. Short ones cause problems on some older British petrol stations.

- German ABE documents (except chrome version) and assembly instructions

SIP -TIPP: Keep some tire sealant in your glove box.

Caution: Please contact a qualified workshop for precise and damage-free tire mounting (a tire tool and suitable mounting base are recommended). Be sure to avoid any surface damage! Many tubeless tires (TT) can also be used as tubeless tires (TL). When mounting the tire, be sure to use mounting paste. Using oil or other unsuitable lubricants may prevent the tire from sitting securely on the rim. Danger! Always check the clearance of the drivetrain and accessory parts! The rims are also available with a choice of pre-mounted tires such as SIP Performer, Michelin, Continental, or Schwalbe.

We recommend using a high-quality original brake drum, as replicas are sometimes incorrectly positioned, meaning the rim cannot be mounted properly on the drum.
