REINFORCED CAPACITOR EVOK PIAGGIO VESPA-APE-MOPED-LAMBRETTA RMS : 246190100

The EVOK external condenser, compatible with Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo, Ape Vespa and Lambretta, replaces the original internal component, which is often faulty even when new.

It has the same capacity as the original capacitor but a higher maximum voltage and is made of polypropylene, making it indestructible. The plastic case is resistant to solvents and gasoline and is waterproof.

Installation is simple thanks to the double male/female faston connector, without the need for wiring modifications. It solves problems such as popping, difficult starting, and sudden shutdowns when hot.

For Ciao, Bravo and Si mopeds:

Simply disconnect the old capacitor by cutting the yellow wire connecting to the points. Connect one wire to ground and the other to the coil.

For Vespa and Lambretta:

You need to bypass the old capacitor by connecting the red wire from the internal coil to the yellow wire from the capacitor (as shown in the photo). Then, connect the capacitor to the coil (see photos).

After installation, it's essential to check the ignition timing. The condenser is more efficient than the original and can slightly increase ignition timing.

**For Ciao, Si, Bravo (steady on):** Adjust the points to 0.35/0.40.

**For Vespa and Lambretta:** Use a strobe light for checking.

It is important not to neglect this step, as excessive advance could cause engine problems at high revs.
