These speed sensors transmit wheel rpm to the speedometer unit. They are suitable for mounting either to the front suspension wheel assembly or the rear engine housing. Connection adapters of various sizes allow for mounting on all common vehicle types. Suitable brackets are also included for easy installation. Active speed sensors can detect the mounting wheels to record rotational speed, although a magnet always provides a stronger transponder signal.
