Characteristics

Traditional shock absorbers with separate springs don't provide adequate damping, often resulting in excessively rapid rebound and shocks transmitted to the handlebars. SIP PERFORMANCE 2.0 shock absorbers are designed to provide optimal damping during the rebound phase, ensuring a controlled and stable rebound, especially when braking.

Available in two stiffnesses:

• 60 PSI – softest setting
• 100 PSI – stiffer (faster rebound)

We recommend using springs with a stiffness increased by at least 33% or STO springs.

Assembly Instructions

A spring that's too weak can cause the shock absorber to bottom out, compromising the suspension's operating angle. In such cases, a stiffer spring is needed.

Note on 8” → 10” wheel conversion

The shock absorber mounting point on 8" wheel forks is lower than on 10" wheel forks. Additionally, the stock fender may be too small, causing unavoidable contact with the wheel during braking, regardless of the spring/shock absorber combination.
