Racing crankshafts are a simple and effective tuning step for any rotary valve engine. A racing engine allows for higher rpm, making the engine more lively and agile. The high-quality racing crankshafts from the Italian company MAZZUCCHELLI impress with their tight manufacturing tolerances and limited bearing play. This ensures high revving resistance and an exceptionally long product life.

Unlike the original crankshaft, a crankshaft has a significantly extended inlet stroke. This increases the charge level. The crank arms are flow-optimized and polished, thus reducing turbulence and flow separation. A polished connecting rod and a lower connecting rod bearing like a silver bearing satisfy the highest demands. All crankshafts are supplied with upper connecting rod bearings.

Those wishing to convert to electronic ignition should opt for the 20/20mm stroke crankshaft. In combination with a stroke cylinder, the thicker and therefore more stable cone is recommended. The ETS crankshaft should be installed on high-revving engines equipped with high-performance cylinders or very lightweight flywheels. This eliminates the risk of the crankshaft stub being torn off. A set of conversion bearings and the corresponding oil seal are then housed in the V50/PV/ET3/PK engine casings.

A reinforced connecting rod is fitted to the RACE version. Additional lubrication holes at the top (for the 125 series only) and lower lubrication slots in the connecting rod eyelet cable increase stability and allow for higher rpm due to the superior lubrication.

Conclusion: Not only is it a good idea to combine it with a tuning cylinder. A performance boost can also be achieved with an original cylinder. MAZZUCCHELLI stands for long-lasting product life and durability.
