EXTRA Head Thickness For all VMC GS series cast iron cylinders
With the combination of 3mm and 4mm bases you can mount our cylinders with increased strokes and connecting rods
For example:
- to mount a VMC GS58 with a 54 stroke and a 110 connecting rod, simply add 2 4mm bases and 2 3mm bases.
- to mount a VMC ET6 with a 53 stroke and a 105 connecting rod, simply add 1 4mm base and 1 3mm base and a 1mm gasket.
It is advisable to apply a layer of silicone sealing paste between one base and the next.
