Air Brake 140 DELL'ORTO For DELL'ORTO SI Carburetor
The main air correction jet on the SI carburetor is located above the main jet and calibrator in the jet block. It determines the premix ratio of fuel and air and enriches the fuel in the jet block with oxygen. It primarily affects the low and mid-rpm range, i.e., in the 1/4 to 3/4 throttle-open range. If the displacement is enlarged, the main air correction jet should be adjusted. In most cases, it also needs to be widened. Dell'Orto main air correction jets are available for the SI D/H/E and SI G carburetors. As their number increases (this indicates the size of the air hole), the main air correction jets become increasingly narrower.
Conclusion: A must for perfect carburetor tuning in the low to mid-rev range.
SIP -TIP: Experiment with the mixter tube and different main jets as well.

ATTENTION: Please note that we use DELLORTO jets exclusively. It makes no sense to save a few cents and use copycat jets. Those who have already tuned their carburetors and find that the actual jet diameter doesn't match the number engraved on the side, that's what we're talking about. If it says 105, then it would be better to have 105 in it! Everything else is a cheap gimmick.
