The Malossi HTQ gears for Vespa PX collect the legacy of the first gear project produced by Malossi between the late 80s and the early 90s.
Completely redesigned, this primary gear pair uses a straight-tooth configuration instead of the standard helical ones.
Malossi has worked hard to ensure the exceptional silence of the gears, achieved through special machining of the teeth and their contact surfaces, finished with obsessive care and verified with an involute tester.
Malossi HTQ gears are made using exclusively materials that exceed the extremely strict standards imposed by our technicians with rigorous tests and trials.
The final processing uses numerically controlled machines, after which the Malossi HTQ gears are subjected to a complete thermochemical cementation treatment at 900°C which gives them the hardness and
resistance required.
The size and quality of the finished gears is finally checked on Zeiss three-dimensional inspection machines.
