Malossi Z 55 / 40 / 37 / 36 Gearbox Gears for Vespa PX - What

The gears are made from special case-hardened steel using CNC gear hobbing machines, and the contact surfaces are ground. We created small pockets in the contact surfaces between the gears to transport oil, increasing its flow and ensuring lubrication between the sliding walls. The number of teeth was calculated to provide an optimized transmission ratio. Where possible, lightening holes were drilled in all gears, except in the contact area between the wheel and the crosspiece, so as to avoid creating breakage points.

Kit with a different Z from the original, useful for providing a variable transmission ratio based on needs.
