VMC Drum Hub for Zip/Et2/Et4 forks modified to fit on Vespa

This hub is used to mount Vespa rims on Piaggio Zip, ET2, ET4 scooter forks,
which are modified to fit Vespa frames.

It has been designed to keep the Vespa rim perfectly in center with the Piaggio Zip, ET2, ET4 fork and similar.

For fixing to the fork hub, it is recommended to use Allen screws with a low head for a more linear look.

With rims like the originals that mount the inflation valve at 90°, the valve could touch the brake caliper.

Place strong thread lock on the studs for attaching the drum to the hub

For fixing to the disc/holder hub we recommend using the low Allen screw kits sold separately

VMC Wheel Hub Disc Holder and Drum Adapter for Fork for Vespa PX, PK125Xl, HP with 20mm axle

With this hub you can mount VMC adapter drums for traditional Vespa rims or Piaggio Zip rims, modern Piaggio Vespa rims, 11-inch Sip rims or similar.

Floating and fixed brake discs with a diameter of 200mm can be mounted on the hub, specifically for the Vespa PX Millennium models, Grimeca disc brake kit, LML Star, modern Vespa (LX, ET2, ET4, etc.), Piaggio ZIP

Depending on the Vespa model, the specific speedometer gear ring can be mounted.

DURING THE ASSEMBLY PHASE OF THE SPEEDOMETER GEAR RING, APPLY AN AXIAL ADHESIVE OR STRONG THREADLOCKER

Complete with bearings and oil seals.

VMC Radial Caliper Support for PX and PK 125 and LML Forks

This bracket allows you to mount 4-piston radial brake calipers with 82mm fixing hole spacing such as VMC, Stage6, BGM , GranSport, Adelin, 8.1 Hurricane, Pinasco and similar calipers.

It is prepared for the external digital sensor of Koso specific for Sip digital speedometers

The kit is complete with special shims for centering the caliper, two needle bearings and the oil/dust seal.

Fits perfectly on VMC disc hubs and also on Grimeca, LML, Piaggio or similar disc hubs for PX, Pk125Xl, PK-Hp forks

VMC Brake Pump Kit + Matching Clutch Lever for Vintage Vespa

The technical revolution signed by VMC is finally available.

After last year's preview, the new VMC solution for installing disc brakes on original handlebars is finally available.
This kit represents a paradigm shift compared to traditional systems: it is not an adaptation of motorcycle pumps with external transmissions with screws, uniballs and various brackets, but a completely integrated and ready-to-assemble system.

The project, born from an idea by Massimo Santinello, aims to definitively solve the ergonomic and aesthetic problems typical of disc conversions on vintage models.

Why choose the VMC system over traditional kits?

Integrated and Clean Design

The VMC pump body mounts directly on the handlebar in place of the original lever support.
The aesthetics remain faithful to the Vespa line, eliminating external mechanical contraptions and guaranteeing millimetric actuation precision, free from the play typical of transmission systems.

Braking efficiency and versatility

The pump is equipped with a 12.5 mm internal piston, a diameter specifically chosen to offer the best balance between pressure and modulation. This size makes it perfectly compatible with most Vespa brake calipers currently on the market, ensuring optimal performance with both 2-piston systems and the more high-performance 4-piston ones.

Improved ergonomics for a natural riding position

The original Piaggio lever often forces the wrist to bend unnaturally, making it difficult to grip the brake.
The VMC pump has been designed with a new lever inclination that follows the natural line of the arm.
The result is more instinctive handling, a firmer grip and superior comfort even in intense city use.

Clutch lever coordinated with "Light Action"

One of the great novelties of this kit is the inclusion of the specific left clutch lever .

VMC didn't just take care of the brake:

  • Mirrored Aesthetics: For a handlebar that is finally symmetrical and refined.

  • Internal Cable Guide: The machined internal groove ensures optimal and constant cable routing during clutch operation.

  • Lightening Effect: Thanks to the increased and constant lever arm, the clutch is much softer to operate than the original levers.

VMC Radial Brake Caliper - 4 Pistons

82mm fixing hole center distance ideal for VMC pitbike and miniGP forks and for the VMC radial brake caliper support for Vespa and other similar ones on the market for Piaggio Zip and modern Vespa forks. With the VMC caliper support it fits perfectly on 10-inch Vespa and Zip rims and does not require adaptations.

Made entirely of CNC machined Avional aluminum, with top quality pistons and seals, all tested on a test bench and 100% guaranteed.

It was designed and manufactured in Italy by Vmc and Ottopuntouno, a top quality company that is increasingly establishing itself in the racing aftermarket world for the quality of its products.

Fitted with sintered brake pads made in Italy with a compound designed and tested on the racetrack and also on the road which, combined with our brake discs, provides maximum braking capacity and resistance to high temperatures.

VMC Braided Hose Kit for Vespa Disc Brakes

The kit has been designed and created for those who fit disc brakes on both small and large frame Vespas.

It is made with the highest quality braided hose produced in Europe, it is 1450mm long and complete with 3 different fittings to adapt to any fork

One of the 3 fittings is crimped to the tube while one of the 2 fittings available in the kit must be started on the other end of the tube

The process is to run the tube through the fork and handlebars, cut it to size and then make the final connections.

To connect the screw-on fitting to the pipe, you need to remove a portion of the plastic outside the braided pipe for a length of approximately 35mm
so that the external fitting can pass through (see photo)

ZINC PLATED SILVER bolt kit for VMC Hub for ZIP/ET2/ET4 forks

With this kit the screws are flush with the hub and give a much more uniform look.

Ideal for those who have a light-coloured hub like the original Piaggio ones.
