The SIP Performance 125cc has a modern overflow system layout. This allows for significantly better performance compared to the original 125cc cylinder of the Vespa Smallframe models.

The 125cc class enjoys continued popularity. It provides an introduction to Engineized two-wheeled locomotion. Depending on country-specific regulations, 125cc two-wheelers can often be driven without a Enginecycle license. Sometimes a car driving license, special driving licenses from the age of 16, or inexpensive additional driving licenses are sufficient.

With SIP Performance 125cc, engines can be built for such driving license regulations that offer adequate driving performance. Original Vespa smallframe engines produce only 5.6 hp and 85 km/h. The SIP Performance 125cc engine achieves this goal. With the SIP Performance 125, the achievable power is on par with the 133cc-136cc gray cast iron tuning cylinders that have been widely used since the 1990s.
