Takega 170cc Racing Engine
The Takega Racing engine features a YX-type crankcase and a Takega-type cylinder head. It has a 170cc displacement with optimized valves and ports, achieving a power output of between 16 and 16.5 horsepower.
This 170cc engine is designed for Takega Racing pit bikes and miniGP bikes and has been dyno tested, demonstrating a performance increase of +2 horsepower compared to a YX 160 or GPX 155 engine.

Question: Buongiorno,non avendolo mai visto vorrei capire se ha gli stessi attacchi dell' yx? Cosa offre di diverso rispetto a u yx normale? I ricambi si trovano oppure sono difficili da reperire? Grazie 11/06/2025 |
Answer: Il motore Takega è una copia del motore Takegawa, un motore giapponese simile all'YX con differenza che è pensato per il cross. Ha circa 2cv in più rispetto all'YX con alcune differenze, ha più coppia in basso ma perde agli alti (proprio perchè è pensato per il cross). Non è un motore comune come il YX quindi anche i suoi ricambi sono meno comuni (e più cari). 12/06/2025 |
