The crankshaft is the heart of your engine and really takes a beating. Crankshafts in engines with high mileage or driven by speed freaks often have worn bearings and shaft seal hubs, or loose connecting rod bearings. The crankshaft must be replaced after every engine service.
We only offer high-quality crankshafts made in Italy. MAZZUCCHELLI and MEC euro, both from the Milan area, have been producing first-class, reasonably priced Vespa crankshafts for decades. The look, quality, and performance are the same as the original PIAGGIO crankshafts.
Above all, Euro MEC crankshafts are very good at measuring pressure. Some crankshafts, such as the ETS crankshafts and the automatic PK crankshafts, are original PIAGGIO crankshafts.
The crankshaft on the flywheel side of all crankshafts measures 82mm, while the other crankshafts (gate valve) measure 87mm. The connecting rod on the 50cc model measures 87mm, and from 80cc onwards, it measures 97mm. Crankshafts are available for the 19/20er, 20/20er and 24/25er taper crankshafts, as well as for the short (43mm) and long stroke (51mm) crankshafts. The crankshaft (rotary valve side) of the 43mm crankshaft has an intake timing of 95mm, while the 51mm crankshaft has a 100mm intake timing. The ETS crankshaft is clearly a highlight and features a 126mm intake timing. The flywheel side bearing and the crankshaft hub seal are also reinforced and thicker. If used in a V50/PK/PV/ET3 crankshaft, a bearing/shaft ring conversion is required. All crankshafts are supplied with upper connecting rod bearings. For those who enjoy sport, opt for a racing crankshaft. Not only do they offer a longer intake torque, they also have a "Messerpleuel" (a polished rod) with a special high-quality silver bearing. The result: solid, high-quality products. Perfect for engine overhauls and effective with decent tuning.

SIP -TIP: New bearings, sealing rings, and wrenches are a must. The same goes for the seal kit, clutch, flywheel, and nuts. It's also a good idea to use engine tools #27338000, #21071000, and #18119000.
