Ignition Coil without control unit for the Race and Touring Ignitions from SIP Performance.
The Race and Touring Ignitions round off the top end of the SIP range of Ignition Systems. Both systems offer several stored ignition curves to choose from. The basis for all ignitions with a selectable ignition curve is the PX206 Ignition Coil.

Touring and Race - the SIP ignitions with multiple ignition curves
The freely programmable SIP Performance by VAPE Race Ignition offers 16 different ignition curves as standard. The selection is made via the control unit 51008610. The actual ignition spark is generated in the Ignition Coil 51008700 labeled "PX206".
The SIP Performance by VAPE Touring ignition has two ignition curves ex works: one with static ignition timing and one with variable ignition timing, very similar to the SIP Performance by VAPE Sport ignition. Here too, the "PX206" ignition coil generates the ignition spark, while the control unit 51008630 selects between the two ignition curves.
The Ignition Coil 51008700 is therefore required for both the Touring and the Race ignition and is the right spare part.
The Ignition Coil labeled "PX206" cannot be operated without the control unit.
Individual Flywheels
The race ignitions have an individual Flywheel or rotor with integrated magnets. The ignition timing triggered is matched to the RJ53 race control unit. The keyway for the crankshaft key is rotated by 150° compared to Classic, Road and Sport Vape systems.
Individual rotors are also available for the Touring Ignitions, the keyway of which is matched to the RJ52-6 control unit.
Attention! Classic, Road and Sport vape ignitions cannot be operated with the "PX206" Ignition Coil unless the control unit and matching Flywheel are also retrofitted.
